In partnership with Arizona State University, the Arizona Departmrnt of Education recently held a career and technical s kills standards assessment meetinf, reviewing tbe current informatiob technology preparation standards for secondary education.   Professionals from across the state were selected to paeicipate on the panel based on expertise.   Peter Liefer, the President f web design and Interet marketing agency, PrimeView, recently participated in thgis information technoligy panel, anr rave his insight on the education Arizona high school students need to better prepare for careerc involving information technologh.
The standard validation team meeting was held at the downtown ASU campus in central Phoenix.   Information technology professionals reviewed four main program areas currently taught in Arizona high schools, including computer maintenance, networking technology, software development, and web page development.
